Create and Manage Flight Reservations

Track reservations, passengers, flight segments, tickets, and checklist items in one record.

The flights module consolidates itinerary structure, traveler details, uploaded tickets, and pre-travel preparation into a single reservation record.

Create a reservation

  1. Open Flights and select New Flight.
  2. Choose the household if the trip belongs to a household context.
  3. Enter booking reference, airline name, notes, and reservation status.
  4. Add at least one passenger.
  5. Add at least one flight segment.
  6. Upload ticket files if available.
  7. Add checklist items unless no checklist is required.
  8. Save the reservation.

Passengers

You can select an existing household member or enter passenger details manually. At least one passenger should be present, and only one passenger can be marked as the primary traveler.

Segments

Segments capture departure airport, arrival airport, departure time, arrival time, flight number, seat, cabin class, and operating carrier details. At least one segment is required.

Tickets and files

Ticket files can be uploaded to the reservation and downloaded later from the detail page. If a ticket needs to be removed, delete the specific ticket record rather than recreating the whole reservation.

Checklists

Use checklist items for operational prep such as passport verification, visa check, lounge coordination, transfer booking, baggage notes, or catering follow-up. Mark Checklist not required only when the itinerary does not need preparation tracking.

Reservation timing

The reservation automatically derives its overall start and end timing from the linked segments. This keeps list views and reminders aligned with the itinerary.
